Rachel walked into the Paris hotel in Las Vegas with her two closest friends. She had just been through a very lengthy divorce from a man she had caught in bed with his secretary. Her friends convinced her that a night at the clubs followed by some meaningless sex was the perfect way to kick off her single life.

I enjoyed the character dynamics and getting to touch on their lives. The connection twist was interesting cuz it connected two of my theories but put it just a little further on the intertwining of life. Great read and can't wait to read what happens after Vegas.
It felt like the author was working according to a formula. The love scene was amateurish, repetitive and laughably obvious. The writing was sub par and only the surprise at the end, if a tad unbeliavable, merits a star. For very naive and not very widely read or experienced readers. Sophisticated palates should give it a pass.
To celebrate her divorce, Rachel heads of to Vegas for a weekend of fun with her two close friends. Little does she know that weekend will change her life. Not wanting to spend the day at the spa, she remains poolside where she’s approached by Cliff, Mr. Hottie. After a dinner and show, things heat up between the two and they soon learn that they have much in common.
The story is interesting and the ending leaves you with a WTF moment, just anxious to see where this goes. This is the first book in a new series and it is extremely short. Because of the length, it was difficult to see much character development, but so far we see that Cliff is handsome and owns his business. He’s determined and goes for what he wants. Rachel is beautiful and isn’t a pushover. As I mentioned, it’s not long enough and I hope the rest are longer than this.

Rachel's two best friends decided to take her to Vegas to celebrate her divorced. After fighting with her ex-husband the lawyer she finally was free from all the pain he caused her.
She was there to have fun and to get back into the dating horse, but never in her wild imagination did she thought this hot guy would hit on her, but was she ready to go out there into the dating world?
Holy Mother of Pearl!!! This was a fast read short story but it was packed with so much power, this is one of my favorite fast pace short stories.
Don't look at it as it short, you will love the plot of the story. Believe me when I tell you, you will not be disappointed.

The page count on this pulled up for me at 37, so I was certainly expecting a quick read. However, over half of the content is teaser chapters from her other books. So the actual short remaining is extremely short. I would have been disappointed had this not been a freebie.
My review is based on this being a freebie. If I would have paid any amount of money for this, I would have had to rate it lower, as the 99 cent price point contains a lot of reading material from which to choose, and I would have felt slighted by this in comparison.
What is here was a fun read about what most of us would consider to be a fantasy date with a perfect stranger in Las Vegas. This guy must be loaded, or very into her, or both, to spend that much money on someone he just picked up poolside.
There is some steam here, but not what I would consider erotica.
This installment does end with a big bang, setting the reader up for what happens next. I'll continue on, but only if the price is right.
Sharon's writing is brilliant and engrossing. It is difficult, if not impossible, to put one of her stories down before you finish it! Her combination of excellent story-telling with great erotic relationships is exceptional!
This is a wonderful introduction to the main book “What Happened After Vegas†I can’t wait to start reading the main book. Rachel goes with her two friends to Vegas for one day and night to celebrate her divorce from her ass of a husband, Jake. She’d given up everything to please him and thought she had a very good marriage until the day she walked in and found him in her bed with his secretary. The divorce is long and nasty and she gives him everything to just be free. Just remember, karma can be a real bitch!
Racial has sworn off ever getting involved with another man. She plans to have a lot of fun with unattached sex when it presents itself. She meets this gorgeous man at the pool. Her friends leave to go to the spa and she hangs around the pool talking with “Mr hottie†who has been buying her drinks. They hang around the pool for another hour or so talking and getting to know each other. He seems like a man that she could trust. And besides, his body is perfect-- the most beautiful man she has seen in years. He invites her out to dinner and a movie, and after the movie, everything really gets hot.
No spoilers, but the ending is wonderful with a really unexpected twist! They discovered that they do not live too far apart, and he wants to see her again after they return home. After everything she discovers in Vegas, will she take a chance and go out with him when they return home? Or will her fears of commitment prevent her from possibly having the greatest relationship she could ever hope for?
This is a really quick read as it introduces you to the main book “What Happened after Vegasâ€. This book is free on for now, and “What Happened after Vegas†is on sale for $.99 right now.
